Mid Atlantic Antiques
Market ~ Spring 2009
We are pleased to announce that there
are big changes in store for the 45th Mid Atlantic Antiques Market at the
Howard County Fairgrounds in West Friendship, Maryland!
Foremost is that there will be an
EARLY BUYING Preview on Friday, March 27, 2009 from 5-8 PM for the benefit
of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
It's a pleasure and a privilege to partner with these folks, and to share
their conservation and preservation efforts.
In addition, the show will be bigger!
Visitors on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
will discover that in addition to the Main Exhibition Hall, with its usual
number of spaces, we have also contracted to use four additional barns.
Each will have 12 spaces, 12' x 18' each, and electricity is provided
to each space. Although more primitive than the Exhibition Hall spaces,
dealers please note that the cost for each space is only $95! Please contact Sims ASAP to take advantage of this opportunity.
Our dealers are keenly aware of the
need to bring a wide variety of antiques to suit the needs of both the
neophyte and the advanced collector, and everyone in between. With as many
as 100 dealers displaying their wares, it's safe to say that there will
be something for everyone.
The Howard County Fairgrounds, 2210
Fairgrounds Rd, are located just 11 miles west of Baltimore at Exit 80
on I-70, easily reached from both Baltimore and Washington, D.C., and less
than 225 miles from New York City, Pittsburgh, PA, or Petersburg, VA.
