About Sims Rogers
Sims Rogers
has made her living in the antiques business since 1974. She has owned
antiques shops in Philadelphia, Baltimore and on the Eastern Shore of Maryland,
and has done all types of restoration, from furniture to paintings. She
has been a consultant, appraiser, lecturer and instructor.
Ms. Rogers is
the founder, producer and manager of the highly acclaimed Mid Atlantic
Antiques Market, a two-day antiques show in the Spring and Fall of each
year catering to the Baltimore-Washington, D.C., community. She has also
managed antiques shows as fund raisers for The United States Equestrian
Team, the Ward Museum of Wildfowl and the Literacy League of Dorchester
County.
Sims Rogers,
a southerner by birth, earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Art from the
University of the Arts in Philadelphia. |
