The Third Annual Antiques Show & Sale in Governor's Hall at Sailwinds Park, 200 Byrn Street, Cambridge, Maryland, on Friday, April 18, Saturday, April 19, and Sunday, April 20, 2008, is the major fundraising activity of the Literacy League of Dorchester County.

Offering the first opportunity to purchase a wide range of fairly priced material from more than 30 dealers in Americana, Folk Art and period decorative arts and specialties for the home and garden, a Preview Party will open the event on Friday, April 18 at 6:30 pm, with music, wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres catered by Garden and Garnish. Tickets are $50 per person and may be purchased at the door or by calling 410-901-9369.

The Show and Sale continues on Saturday, April 19, from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm and on Sunday, April 20, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. Tickets are $8 at the door and lunch will be available from Bobby’s Restaurant.

Antiques dealers from as far away as Vermont & North Carolina will offer for sale all sorts of antiques in room-like settings, including country and formal furniture, textiles, jewelry, glass, silver and lots more.
